Friends of the Centre
Friends of the Centre are individuals from local churches who see the need for Crossway's work and want to take an active role in supporting it. We couldn't do what we do without help from generous people who give their time, finances, emotional support and creative ideas.
Here are a few ways in which Friends of the Centre can support us:
We believe the life of the centre is completely dependent on having strong prayer support.
- Receive our monthly prayer letter
- Attend Crossway's prayer meetings
- Form a prayer group
Whether you're brimming with brilliant fundraising ideas or not, you can use your creativity for a good cause. Here are some of our own ideas:
- Sponsored walk/run/cycle
- Wine and cheese evening
- Car boot sale
- Pub quiz
- Cake sale
- Music recital
- Progressive dinner
- Talent competition
We're happy to come and speak at a mid-week group, coffee morning, mums and tots etc. Tell your circle about our services: GP, work colleagues, church group, health club, book club, library, school – whatever is appropriate for you.
We aim to support Friends of the Centre with resources of support, materials and information. We can attend a group's meeting to help plan and answer any questions; we can provide speakers and/or information and discussion materials about unplanned pregnancy, abortion, miscarriage and how the centre's work speaks into these issues; we can help with fundraising ideas and strategies; and we can provide publicity materials.
This is a great opportunity to meet new people, support a worthwhile cause and to use your creativity. If you'd like more information about becoming a Friend of the Centre, please fill out the form below.
